Sonya Seward, RECE

Sonya Seward graduated from the St. Lawrence College Early Childhood Education Program 2008, and has also gained Bookkeeping and Autism Studies Certificates through Algonquin College.  She joined the Rideau Lakes Early Learning Centre in 2019 as a supervisor with 15 years of experience in the early childhood field, and was promoted to executive director in 2020.  She appreciates the great mentors, role models and employers who have helped shape her into the educator that she is today.

She is the mother of 3 beautiful girls, and she has always been passionate about the well-being of others.  Ever since she was a young child, she has wanted to be in the education field; being an educator is in her DNA.
